The Naka Island, A Luxury Collection Resort & SPA, Phuket *****

I've been to Thailand more times than I can count. People often ask me why I return to places I’ve already visited instead of exploring somewhere new. Well, that’s an easy answer: it’s because I feel attached to them. And why do I love Thailand so much? The warm weather, delicious food, friendly locals, the postcard-perfect tropical islands and the list goes on. I've stayed at some amazing hotels in Phuket and you can read about them here.

Now I want to give you my personal review of the 5 star hotel set on an private island, 10 minutes by speedboat making this hotel a unique, private and intimate retreat that you should def check out if you’re planning a trip tp Phuket. Here you will find something for all family members.

The hotel offers 80 Thai style villas surrounded by lush vegetation and landscaped gardens. You can select villas also feature a private pool or direct beach access, or both. I stayed in a newly renovated Grand Deluxe Terrace Villa, a spacious villa of 85 sqm located near the pool area and the beach. You should stay here if you want luxurious, generous villas, privacy and the serenity.

Food & Beverages

The hotel has 2 restaurants and one bar, the Z bar. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to work out the equation; sunset + cocktail + good company = magic. At Z bar this equation just gets even better! Both of the restaurants are really good and you can also get Afternoon Tea in your private villa.

From 5500 kr in a Grand Deluxe Terrace Villa. For more info visit their website here.

Inside tips! Look further down!

Borrow one of their mountain bikes to explore the island. We rode through lush tropical scenery and the local fishing villages to get to the highest point of the island. To get here you have to rode up the steep hill with serpentine roads. After the hard and sweaty ride up the hill, its worth it trust me! You will get a beautiful view of the Andaman Sea and the adjacent islands. And the downhill ride is even more fun...!

Until we meet again,
