If you're not brave enough to eat the street food from the Dai Pai Dong-style Restaurants.

This is My Guide to 4 Cool Casual and... cheap Restaurants that you have to try when you're in Hong Kong. And they are all serving heavenly delicious food! I still dream about the noodles at Sijie Sichuan Dishes ... Go on then, scroll down and read my top list! Enjoy!

A foodie is a person who has an ardent or refined interest in food and who eats food not out of hunger but due to their interest or hobby

1. Sijie Sichuan Dishes

Hard to find but its worth to look for because when you entering this restaurant you get that wow-feeling of knowing that this is a genuine restaurant. And you almost start to cry because it is sooooo delicious. The first thing I remember tasting and then wanting to taste again is the Sichuan Cold Noodles one of their Famous Dishes. Try the Fish Mew as well! And hey.. you're not suppose to eat the red chilis just a friendly reminder. They serve both lunch and dinner here.

10/F, Bartlock Centre, 3 Yiu Wa Street, Causeway Bay, Hongkong

2. Mak's Noodle

This is a traditional cantonese restaurant known for their famous specialty wonton noodles. The recipe has remained unchanged since Mak's grandfather's time and is now a a third-generation descendant. They only have menus in cantonese so you need to point on what you would like. The dishes are small so you can try many different dishes. Go for the Tossed Noodles w Wonton & Oyster Sauce and Dumpling Noodle in Soup, heavenly good!

77 Wellington St, Central, Hongkong

3. Din Tai Fung

Dumplings, Wontons, Soup, Fried Rice and the list could go on. Everything here is excellently and if I have to give you a recommendation I would say go for the Steamed shrimp and pork dumplings and Sautéed Chinese Kale with supreme broth a simple but delicious dish.

Shop 306, 3/F, Silvercord, 30 Canton Rd., Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon

4. Seoul Bros

Complete with an impressively bright neon sign one that stands out even in Hong Kong you will find Seoul Bros a Korean-fusion fast casual restaurant. Located In the opposite direction to the flavorful Restaurant Ho Lee Fook (love this restaurant, read about it here). Seoul Bros is very casual and it looks exactly like a Dai Pai Dong Restaurant but don't let yourself be fooled. This is a popular restaurant and they serve tasty food. To hard to decide? Go for the Set Menu, simple as that.

FOODIE. Enjoy!

And remember, until we meet again
